After long careers in the martial arts industry and cycling through a number of other franchises, we’re so proud to share what we’ve learned to help you find, build, and foster your own community in the same meaningful way we’ve done. Owning a martial arts dojo can feel lonely. Without the right team behind you, and the right tools at your disposal, it can really limit your short-term and long-term success—sometimes even prevent it entirely. That’s why we’ve poured our hearts and souls into building Aplomb Martial Arts from the ground up, and making sure that every one of our franchisors feels like we’ve got their back. Through every step. Every failure. And every success.
At first, our lawyers told us we were crazy. But we never wanted to be the Mickie Dee’s of Martial Arts. It’s not how you build a community, and it’s not the type of lives we wanted to live (or the example we wanted to set for our own kids). Our dream was to create a place where instructors and owners could feel like they had just as much growth potential as the students they taught. And now we’re excited to go beyond living our dream every day, to help you to do the same.
