Come run or walk with the Aplomb KC North Team in a family-friendly 5K event benefiting Mother’s Refuge. The Kansas City Temple Run is fun for the whole family! Whether you run the 5k with a timing chip (ONLY $5!!!) or without, walk the 3k with your kids, push a stroller, or have your children run in the Kids’ Race the Temple Run has always been a family affair. You can also purchase t-shirts for the whole family and donate items to support a local charity! We do ask that pets, scooters & bikes stay home. For more event info, please visit the event FAQ page. This free event is hosted and funded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
While the race is completely free, if you would like a timing chip or t-shirt, there are small fees associated with it. The timing chip is $5, and the pre-ordered t-shirts cost $15.
Registration deadline is Friday, August 30, 2025, by Midnight CST. Cost for timed runners increases to $7 on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM CST.
7:00 am – Registration/Check-In & T-shirt Booth Opens Location: Church parking lot
8:30 am – Opening Prayer and Kids 100 Yard Dash Location: Race starting line
8:45 am – Registration/Check-in Closes
9:00 am – 5K Run and 3K Walk Begin Location: Race starting line
10:15 am – Awards Ceremony Location: Temple Run Winner’s Podium, just north of starting line
10:30 am – T-shirt Booth Closes
